Annual Assessment or Maintenance Charge Legal Description & More ...

Our Declaration of Restrictions, Article 20, beginning on page 5 states:

A lien is hereby established on the lots subject to these Restrictions to secure the payment
of the maintenance charge established hereby, … . …The aforesaid lien shall secure payment of the maintenance charge and all past-due interest which may accrue thereon, together with all reasonable expenses, costs, and attorney’s fees which may be incurred in connection with the collection thereof. …

The lien is automatically attached to a property when it is purchased. This allows legal collection action on any delinquent accounts by the Association.

ANNUAL ASSESSMENT INVOICES:

The Annual Assessment invoices or Maintenance Charges are mailed out in late November. These invoices are due for payment on January 1 every year. Unpaid accounts become delinquent after thirty (30) days or on February 1 at which time a collection process begins.

PAYMENTS:

WHMA can ONLY accept a personal check, a money order or a cashier’s check made payable to Williamsburg Hamlet M.A. or WHMA. We DO NOT accept credit cards and we DO NOT accept cash or online payments. Mail payments to P.O. Box 1332, Katy, TX 77492-1332 or deposit your payment in the secure DropBox located at the pool house.

Important:To credit your payment to the correct account, write your property address on the check, money order or cashier’s check. Remember, your property address is your account number.
